This change was made by applying emacs' untabify function to
nearly all files in Bison's repository. Required tabs in make
files, ChangeLog, regexps, and test code were manually skipped.
Other notable exceptions and changes are listed below.
* bootstrap: Skip because we sync this with gnulib.
* data/m4sugar/foreach.m4
* data/m4sugar/m4sugar.m4: Skip because we sync these with
Autoconf.
* djgpp: Skip because I don't know how to test djgpp properly, and
this code appears to be unmaintained anyway.
* README-hacking (Hacking): Specify that tabs should be avoided
where not required.
GNU/Linux and Solaris that support unlocked I/O. The basic idea
is to use the gnlib unlocked-io module, and to prefer putc and
puts to printf when either will work (since the latter doesn't
come in an unlocked flavor).
* bootstrap (gnulib_modules): Add unlocked-io.
* data/c.m4 (yysymprint): Prefer puts and putc to printf.
* data/glr.c (YYFPUTC, YYFPUTS, YYDPUTS): New macros.
Prefer them to YYFPRINTF and YYDPRINTF if either will do,
and similarly for puts and putc and printf.
* data/yacc.c: Likewise.
* lib/bitset.c (bitset_print): Likewise.
* lib/bitset.h [USE_UNLOCKED_IO]: Include unlocked-io.h.
* lib/bitsetv.c (bitsetv_dump, debug-bitsetv): Prefer putc and puts
to printf.
* lib/lbitset.c (debug_lbitset): Likewise.
* src/closure.c (print_firsts, print_fderives): Likewise.
* src/gram.c (grammar_dump): Likewise.
* src/lalr.c (look_ahead_tokens_print): Likewise.

(user_actions_output): Coalesce two printfs.
* src/parse-gram.h (%printer): Prefer putc and puts to printf.

* src/system.h: Include unlocked-io.h rathe than stdio.h.
bitsetv_ones, bitsetv_transitive_closure, bitsetv_dump,
debug_bitsetv): Use function prototypes; this removes the need for
declaring static functions simply to provide their prototypes.

word size yields a value that is properly aligned for the whole union.
(bitsetv_alloc): Add a cast to (void *) to avoid a GCC warning.
bitsetv_zero, bitsetv_ones, bitsetv_transitive_closure,

Use bitset_bindex, not int or unsigned int or size_t, to count bits.
(bitsetv_alloc): Use size_t, not unsigned int, to count bytes.
(bitsetv_dump, debug_bitsetv):
Use bitset_windex instead of unsigned int.
Use proper printf formats for widths of integer types.
(bitsetv_alloc): Check for arithmetic overflow when computing sizes.
