Do not hard code values of directories in `configure.in'.
Update the `configure' tool chain. * configure.in (XPFILE, XPFILE1, LOCALEDIR): Remove, handled by src/makefile.am. (VERSION_STRING): Use the third arg of AC_DEFINE_UNQUOTED.
